The lab behind the datasheet
Any factory can print "CE" on a box. We put the measurement bench, the endurance rigs and the four-stage QC system behind every model we quote — and we open both to buyers before they commit.
Tuned on a bench, not on a hunch
Every platform model is measured and tuned in-house before it reaches the catalog. That is why we can modify acoustics for your market quickly — the measurement loop is ours, not a third party's schedule.
- Coupler-based frequency response & THD measurement
- Microphone sensitivity and directionality mapping
- ENC depth verified against reference noise scenarios
- Reference recordings shared with buyers on request
What we test before a model gets a name
A model earns its SKU only after the full matrix passes. Reports are available per model in the quotation pack.
Acoustic & electroacoustic testing
Frequency response, THD, sensitivity and microphone directionality measured on every design iteration — the same data that appears in your datasheets, from the same bench.
Environmental Noise Cancellation verification
ENC and ANC performance validated against reference noise scenarios (office, street, transit). Side-by-side recordings available to buyers on request.
Mechanical endurance
Boom-arm rotation, headband torsion, button lifecycle and cable bend cycles — rated for commercial use, not just out-of-box condition.
Environmental & safety
High/low temperature cycling, humidity, salt spray and drop testing. Battery-powered models carry UN38.3 transport testing and MSDS documentation.
Defects are contained where they occur
Quality on a production line is a routing problem: the earlier a defect is caught, the cheaper it is. Each stage exists to keep problems from travelling.
Incoming quality control
Drivers, batteries, cables and housings sampled against AQL plans before entering the warehouse. Substandard lots are rejected at the door, not discovered on the line.
In-process control
Semi-finished assemblies checked at each critical station: soldering, acoustic alignment, firmware flashing. Issues are contained at the station where they occur.
Final quality control
Every finished unit passes functional test — drivers, mic, buttons, wireless pairing — before packing. Not a sample: every unit.
Outgoing quality control
AQL 2.5 inspection on finished cartons per shipment: cosmetics, accessories, packaging integrity and carton drop checks before the container seals.
Documents that survive customs
Certification is paperwork until the day it is leverage. We prepare the pack per destination market as part of the order, not as an upsell.
How the numbers are produced
What a QC claim actually means, in the terms a technical buyer checks it by.
How is ENC microphone performance verified?
ENC depth is verified by replaying reference noise scenarios — office babble, traffic and call center room noise — into the microphone array and measuring the attenuation at the ear. The measurement is repeated on every design iteration, and the comparison recording is available on request.
What does AQL 2.5 mean on an outgoing inspection?
AQL 2.5 is the acceptable quality limit applied to the final inspection of every shipment: samples are drawn from the finished lot and the batch passes only if the number of major defects stays within the AQL 2.5 threshold. It is the verification step before packing, not a design-stage check.
How many quality control stages are there?
Four. Incoming material inspection, in-process checks on the line, functional test of every unit before packing, and AQL 2.5 outgoing inspection on the finished lot.
Which test reports ship with an order?
Each shipment carries the test reports for the certifications it was ordered against — CE, FCC, RoHS, REACH or UKCA — plus UN38.3 and MSDS for models with a lithium battery. Certificates of origin and commercial invoices are prepared for customs clearance.
Ask for the reports, not the promises.
Tell us the model and market — we will send the matching test pack with your quotation.
